In comes Company

On the night of his 35th birthday, Bobby finds himself surrounded by his closest friends: five married couples who are all very invested in figuring out why he’s still single. Through dinners, dates, conversations, and the lives of the people around him, Bobby begins to question what he really wants from love, relationships, and the people he chooses to let into his life.

Through Bobby and the couples who surround him, Company takes a funny, complicated, and deeply human look at love, marriage, friendship, loneliness, and the fear and vulnerability that come with letting another person into your life.

At Contact, our production of Company will explore what it means to truly be connected in a world where we are constantly surrounded by people, yet increasingly isolated from one another. What does it mean to know someone, to be known by them, and to have people in your life? Does connection have to look a certain way to be meaningful? Through Bobby’s search for answers, we want to examine the space between being alone and being together, and the messy, imperfect ways we build friendship, love, and community.

Our production of Company will take place May 13–22, 2027 at Monument-National.

COMPANY is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI.
